The Carrollton Crew, Crew Red 96 U-12 boys team competed at the Vulcan Cup in Birmingham this past weekend in the 11 v 11 bracket, reaching the finals. 200 teams from 18 states participated in this tournament. The Crew competed at 11 v 11 as they continue to prepare for the Fall 08 season and the move to bigger fields and 11 v 11 games.

Until the grass recovers, please do not practice on wet fields. Please do not practice in goal mouths.

The U-12 Girls Academy team played at the Coastal Georgia Soccer "Girls Rock" Tournament earlier this month. The Girls performed well, winning the Silver bracket.

Katy Flinn collected soccer balls to be taken to the orphaned children of the Naivasha Rescue Shelter in Kenya. She left November 8 and returned November 17th. She says yhanks for the balls. The balls were very well received by the street boys of Naivasha. In these photos Katy is shown with 2o+ boys who were taken off the streets and into the Strong Tower Home. www.gao.org
